Cookies and Local Storage

1. Summary

SIM PLC 5000 uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage items to sign you in, remember your display theme, and let the app load quickly and work offline. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

2. What we use

The app also keeps some editor state in memory or session storage while a tab is open. It is discarded when you close the tab.

3. Third-party services

Cloudflare Turnstile: when enabled on the waitlist and contact forms, Turnstile runs a bot check in your browser and may use cookies or similar storage that are necessary for that check.
Stripe: when you pay or manage billing, you use pages hosted by Stripe, which set their own cookies for security and fraud prevention under Stripe’s cookie policy.

Everything listed above is strictly necessary to provide a service you asked for or to keep it secure, so it does not require consent. If we ever add optional analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this page and the Privacy Notice first and ask for your consent where required.

5. Your controls

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie you will not be able to sign in to the app. Clearing site data resets your theme choice and removes the offline app cache.

6. Changes

We will update this page when the cookies or storage we use change. The version and effective date at the top show when it last changed.
