1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Use. It keeps SIM PLC 5000 safe, fair, and available for everyone who is learning and teaching with it.
2. What you may not do
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it, while using the Service.
- Upload material you do not have the right to use, including proprietary control programs, documentation, or files that belong to an employer, client, or vendor without permission.
- Upload malware or content designed to harm, or store content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or sexually exploitative.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or bypass authentication, rate limits, bot protection, or plan limits, unless we have given you written permission.
- Create accounts by automated means, or use bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service, except through features we provide for that purpose.
- Overload or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, or with other people’s use of it.
- Share, sell, rent, or transfer your account, or let other people use one paid subscription.
- Copy, resell, or offer the Service as your own product, or decompile or reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows.
- Misrepresent your identity or your affiliation with any person or organization.
3. Real equipment
The Service is a training simulator. Do not use it, or programs developed or tested in it, as the basis for designing, commissioning, validating, or operating production machinery, safety systems, or any real equipment. See the Terms of Use for details.
4. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you have violated this policy, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate your account, as described in the Terms of Use. When appropriate we will tell you what happened and give you a chance to respond. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.
